When the high school sports year comes to its conclusion on the final championship weekend, there’s usually some Fife Trojans in the mix. This year has a bit of a different look, but Fife is going to be well-represented throughout several sports.
With memories of a 3-1 defeat in the 2016 2A championship game adding some fuel to the fire, the Fife fastpitch team will be making another run at the big trophy. After navigating through a stacked field at the 2A West Central District tournament for a fifth seed to state, the Trojans will be making their state entry as a dark horse pick, instead of a surefire favorite to win it all.
